I'll change it to "I'm not like the other ghosts. I look like this because..."
Once all the dialogue is ready I'll probably run it past an editor friend

Might be because the word 'like' appears twice in the same sentence. In normal speech it wouldn't be noticed and I didn't until I read the comments and saw it pointed out.

Intriguing. I rather like this. Grammatically, the first sentence works just fine. It's the linking phrase in the second panel that you may need to consider revising to "We're murderers." There are other possible variations you can use as well. If you need some help, I'd be happy to lend a hand. I'm a freelance editor.
