well, as someone who claims to be a pixel artist i could get heavy in pointing out all the little bits


mspaint is not something fun to make pixel arts in in my opinion :C
pixelation is less about drawing with blocks and is more useing the blocks to create an art,

What would be a good program to do pixel art anyways? I hate mspaint, it's so iffy D:<

well ive always found that old and simple is best, and in such cases i picked up a program called Idraw3

it has all the tools i need for all the sprites i draw, and i draw alot, it doesnt have many flashy features, but it does have an animation preview, block intervals (helps with copy pasting or animation stuff* color blender (great for makeing colors to shade with), image magnifier, rotation tools, simple color changes (makeing a color pallet redder or bluer, or makeing it negative)

if i remember i got it by just googling it and it took me right to the site, this was a couple years ago though

i use vista, maybe im just yelling at it more, try yelling louder! <3


the programe Idraw3 does have a dark downside though, you cannot copy images INTO it even from another opened Idraw window


its not do bad, cept i had to copy several megaman sprites in for size references pixel by pixel

ALL of my pixel art is made exclusively in MS Paint 7, and before then, MS Paint XP. Paint is an excellent Spriting tool, you just need to know how to use it. The only reason I use GIMP is to add transparencies to the background.

Yeah, you don't know the pain of coaxing an enemy into using a skill on you so you learn it...especialy the ones you can kill in one hit
