Meet the Ill-Omened Eye, a Strix magus in a Pathfinder game. Born under a bad moon to a dying race with a third eye from magical / demonic taint, and things have gotten worse from there.
He came to the tyrannical, devil-worshipping land of Cheliax to learn how a god was killed. Since then he has acquired a suspicious black sword that he can't get rid of, the city of Westcrown has been set on fire - twice, a plague of soulless abominations has decimated the region, an ally lost their sanity and humanity to a cursed weapon, and his only friend is the zombified head of a goblin that tried to kill him.
He also spent his fortune buying land in the city immediately before it was leveled by the aforementioned ally when they transformed into a full-blooded demon.
It's been a rough couple of months.
Bad idea - make a sketch with a leaky ballpoint pen on a yellow steno pad, take a picture of it with a phone camera, and then try to finish it in SAI.
