This was an early concept for a mega evolution of my character. By the end I changed it up (and you'll see that later if you haven't already) into something that I think was a bit nicer. The mega form actually ended up being partly re-evolved into some core parts of what's now the Chuki design.

There is something I like about this interpretation of Mega Raichu. While this early design could have benefit from more differentiation from regular Raichu, you definitely iterated over the original design while keeping its appeal. In fact, the literal edge he had suited his own electrical element! I find clever that you decided to play with that motif here.
Plus, I like how his mohawk was spikier, matching the literal edge the Mega Raichu had.
