A friendly poker game gets a little more cutthroat than usual when the pot grows large.
This was written as an entry in a "Write a Story in an Hour" panel I hosted at Rainfurrest 2011. (Yes, this story was written in an hour.) I had a list of 100 keywords and randomly chose 4 of them. Participants had to integrate at least three into the story, though they could do it in any way they chose. The four words were: Gambling, Apple, Fluffy Tails, and... er, I forget. Sorry.
