There was a shooting on our block last night, one that sounded as if it were coming through the walls. Kidlet is always spooked by gunshots since they have a few week times a week. But this one scared me too. So I bid him over to my bed to cuddle with me as I drew these things for him. Eventually, he got sleepy enough to go back to bed.
