Continuing the idea of a fantasy bedroom theme, after a good while since the last, I decided to base one on the idea of camping out in the forest.

This bedroom is shared by Firenor and his soulmate, and Firenor's best friend Ritan.

Bordering the walls are "trees" that serve 2 purposes, one they act as furniture, containing various drawers, cabinets, and shelving between them; and two they form a canopy on the ceiling that paper lantern lights hang on. These lights are set to adjust the lighting and color to mimic times of day from sunrise to sunset, and then resemble starlight at night.

In the middle is a fire feature surrounded by cork flooring, which is fire resistant. The fire feature can be set from its ccurrent form, which Aogami designed, to a normal campfire, or anything else needed that fits the area.

I tend to use bonsai for rooms meant to be K'tan starship rooms, because K'tan love nature, and bonsai respresent a good harmony between nature and space. Here are large pine bonsai, complementing the idea of a forest.

This scene shows the 2 main bedchambers, with panels that can be pulled down and made opaque for privacy. They currently have nothing on the shelves... because I have not yet spent the streaming time to fill them.

The scene: Firenor has gotten up early (NOT normal for this non morning person dragon) and started some tea, and is working on regular maintenance of her katana. Piko on the left has surrendered to the morning and gotten out of bed in some neat pajamas that were made using a Japanese wave painting. On the right, Ritan the pillow hedonist has managed to kick off his blanket, and horde all his pillows, but is still fighting the need to actually get up.
