Welcome back! So, I bet you people remember 2 episodes ago that I discussed the logos of Cartoon Network and Hanna-Barbera. Well, guess what: we have another episode following its footsteps. All thanks to
HappyHyenaGirl! For this episode, the first logo we got here is Cartoon Network's take on Nickelodeon's Nicktoons. The name in question is of course, Cartoon Cartoons! The name "Cartoon Cartoons" was formed after the release of The What a Cartoon! Show in 1995, where it shows pilots of upcoming Cartoon Network shows to see if they will become TV shows. It's basically Cartoon Network's version of Nickelodeon's Oh Yeah! Cartoons. The name in general didn't came true until 1997 with the premiere of Cow and Chicken/I Am Weasel. The complete list of Cartoon Network original shows that classified as Cartoon Cartoons are as follows: Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, The Powerpuff Girls (Classic), Ed, Edd n' Eddy, Mike, Lu, & Og, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Sheep in the Big City, Time Squad, Grim & Evil (The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy/Evil Con Carne), Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?, and Codename: Kids Next Door. Cartoon Cartoons became so popular in the late 90s and early 2000s that it bacame the main point of most of Cartoon Network's blocks including The Cartoon Cartoon Show (which is another name for The What A Cartoon! Show), Cartoon Cartoons The Top 5, Cartoon Cartoon Summer, Cartoon Cartoon Primetime, Cartoon Cartoon Weekend, and the most popular block of them all, Cartoon Cartoon Fridays, a block where they show new episodes of the original shows hosted by your favorite Cartoon Network characters. Unfortunately in 2006, the Cartoon Cartoons name when completely defunct, but we will always remember the good times if Cartoon Cartoons. Now on to next subject, the All-Stars Hanna-Barbera Cartoons logo. This logo debuted in 1993 where they air Hanna-Barbera specials like A Flintstones Christmas Carol. But I usually remember this during my birth year when it was shown during The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo Where Are You!, Top Cat, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, and I Am Weasel on Cartoon Network/Boomerang, which is still shown today. When I saw this logo, I think it was going the Nickelodeon route with different characters in an oval or rectangle. In fact, this is the last logo Hanna-Barbera used before it was folded into Warner Bros. Animation in 2001. No matter where they are, both logos will be fondly remembered even to this very day. If you have a logo to suggest to me on Logo Bunch, just comment down below! See you next time!
