The young rabbit ran in, unable to contain his excitement, holding his cupped hands together. "Mom! Mom!" he called, as he headed for the kitchen. His mother was busy with breakfast. What could possibly have her kid so riled up at this hour? She didn't have to turn around far – he nearly had his two little hands in her face. Bouncing, excited on his toes, and satisfied that she was looking, he slowly parted his hands.
A very tired looking mouse was sleeping in them, curled up in his clawed, furry hands.

This was something I'd really wanted to do for a long time. I only knew I wanted two things out of this drawing: the hands in that position, and the right foot against a giant thumb. I know it's not perfect, but I'm satisfied with how it came out.
