As I mentioned here, I've been thinking of doing my own version of My Little Pony. The characters here are a fairly even mix of males and females and I included sea ponies! Sea ponies in my version are a bit different than Gen 1 in both their forehooves and the fact they can change their tails into legs (as can be seen here).

Note that the ears of the two sea ponies and the almaricorn do no change. This distinguishes them from regular earth ponies.
