Time for yet another addition to my line-up, here. Meet Dante, the apathetic alligator.
He comes from the same world as my snow leopard, Aza(Introduced in my story "Big" and Bigger. No refs yet). Their world has discovered ways to cross into other dimensions and the like, and of course it appears that every other universe is on a much smaller scale than theirs. Plenty of their world's denizens like to play about in the smaller worlds, but Dante here has mostly ignored them, content with staying home. The taunting and teasing of bug-like people never interested him too much.
However, he still can't avoid the little things. Of course, his people's punching of holes between dimensions constantly can have consequences, though nothing too major(the multi-verse won't, like, collapse or anything), just things known as "soft spots". Places where things from other worlds can leak into their own. Dante's home happens to sit upon such a spot, and tiny beings wander in constantly. He tends to ignore them most of the time, though not really caring if they happen to end up underfoot or in his food, or if he's reeaaally bored and needs some entertain himself by tormenting a bug.
However, as with all pests, their population tends to build up over time. Once they get a bit too annoying his liking, Dante takes it upon himself to do a bit of cleaning. By the time he's done, most the little things have their lungs filled with bug spray, are plastered to the the soles of his sneakers, cooked into his lunch, or sitting in a jar waiting to become food for his venus flytrap. Then the cycle begins again with him ignoring them once more.
And that's pretty much it for the life of Dante the 'gator.
