STOP! CHECK OUT THE ORIGINAL SUBMISSION TODAY!
Leo stops in his tracks along his walk, his fuzzy ears picking up on some faint paw-steps behind him. By the sound of the pacing and heaviness of said paw-steps, he felt no danger.
"You don't have to sneak up on me, you know," he called to the mystery guest behind him, smiling and barely turning his head back slightly. "My ninja senses let me know you're right behind me. Whoever you are, I mean you no harm. Go ahead and introduce yourself."
Well, this is kinda embarrassing. This sketch by
was meant to be posted earlier, but I may or may not have cut-and-pasted it to my hard drive along with other submissions I've already posted before posting it. Whoops.
Still, I'm very happy that I remembered this all the same after casually going through my hard drive the other day! lol I remembered that early last month,
offered to draw any and all lucky furries' characters/fursonas in his sketchbook while he'd be on a train ride two days after posting that offer in his journal. And though he preferred to have ferals and humans rather than anthros at the time, I offered my anthro fursona for the heck of it anyway. And I'm glad I did, for he ended up submitting this sketch roughly a week afterward!
What I notice right away is the cool approach on styling Leo's hairdo/mane through his eyes while still maintaining its overall anime appeal. In fact, compared to the last time he drew him, either way looks pretty damn amazing; they both look practical, natural, and stylish! Nice, bright expression you have for Leo; the friendly smile on his muzzle goes well with the simple, relaxed standing pose he chose to put him in. Lovely job with his neck floof and other tufts of fur on him like on his cheeks; speaking of which, excellent work on his Naruto-inspired "whisker" lines on each cheek, getting them down-pat. Same goes for Leo's muscle shirt and marking on that, too!
And that also applies to his black paw-print tattoo with it being well-drawn; though it looks a little too high up on the shoulder area, very well done!
Another excellent free sketch you've provided,
! Thank you very much and very kindly! I look forward to any other opportunities in the future!
NOTE: Original submission has been modified via Photoshop to adjust the levels and sharpness from the scan quality.
