I know what you're thinking. No, I wasn't lazy with posting this. Rather I was reluctant. And no, that's not because I think this is terrible. Quite the contrary, I think I did a pretty decent job with this one (even though this is, once again, a bean-eyed chibi). I whipped this together back in July of last year while I was still going through what'd be the last few bits of my high anxiety and high blood pressure struggles. And I made this for my AskFM page. I even use this for my current Steam spray when played Team Fortress 2 (if you play it, you've probably seen it already, lol). But one of the main reasons I made this - and am finally putting this on here (with my custom watermark added to it just in case) - was that I wanted to try and make a decent-enough replacement for my current, shoddy 2010 pencil-crayon headshot from my earlier character concept of Leo.
I honestly love how I've made Leo's hairdo/mane here, making it look very full-ish and flowing. My attempt at giving him a bright, cheerful smile worked nicely I daresay. I also tried to add a line along one side of his nose to make look his it's like the side of his bridge-line if that makes sense. lol The thumbs-up I knew would be a fun little touch to add to the cute headshot. And though I made the background a simple one, it kinda compliments the whole image and maintains the overall warm colour collection.
With in chibi form, 3/4 is slightly tricky, trying to determine when certain lines and part of the head should be outlines and/or "cut off." And perhaps I should've considered giving Leo thicker "whisker" markings, but I can be okay with them this way for now.
All in all, I like what I've done here. Yes, I know I need to graduate and move on from drawing in a lame chibi style, but at least I'm trying, darn it! Maybe if I had one-on-one furry art lessons, I'd improve!

Me either! I can't believe I didn't post this earlier either if I had know I'd get a good reaction out of it. lol I guess I was just reluctant in showing on FA as I mainly made it for an icon for my AskFM page. Plus I was still dealing with my high anxiety/blood pressure scares at the time, so more focus kinda went to that, and I guess I just never bothered to post it. Plus it's a chibi. I need to graduate from that baaaadly. ;^w^ lol
