This was all digital drawing practice, as I try to get away from my addiction to paper. I’m currently playing through the original Dark Souls game, since I never did beat it before (and I’ve beaten Dark Souls 3 three times). So I decided to draw Lynne wearing the gear my character is currently using.
I’d like to color it up sometime, since I think her bright colors would look good in contrast to the dark color of the armor set. Will probably put it on Patreon when finished.

Kinda glad to be honest. In DS2, it was funny as fuck to be in the Iron keep on a second, or third playthrough. On that 'PvP' bridge where most people went? I wouldn't open the doors to the rest of the level, so when little bitches wanted to run an hide because they were losing, they fucking couldn't. <3
Which included people who'd fought me and lost before. They's summon in, see me, heel-turn and slam face first into a closed door.

Underestimation is also a mindgame. I love how PvP is implemented, though it's never my focus. I've focused on Dex for my main characters, and have been able to hold my own well. If I do another DS3 playthrough I'll probably focus on STR so I can use all those boss weapons first hand.
Neat picture.^^ Makes me kinda want to ditch Dragons Dogma and get back to playing Dark Souls, though a katana with a shield allways irked me for some reason. Propably because I am German and have grown up in the land of castles and burgs so I might be a bit biased on which weapon should go with a shield.
On a side note, I totaly prefer "light" armor too. I usually go with a luck/dex build and a nice spear and shield combo. And a bow for being a dick.^^

I know all this. I'm a huge souls player and lore freak for the games. My comment was looking at this picture from a historical and practicality view. After getting into the realism and historical accuracy for things like how weapons, armor, and tactics that were used way back when, I like to share my input using this mindset. I fully acknowledge that games are exactly that, a game, and your art is of course, art. I'm an artist, too (though not a very active practitioner). Both mediums are fantastic for expressing, and sharing creativity.
All that said, I was in no way judging or trying to impede upon hoe you play games or how you should draw. Just adding to discussion if at all. Sorry if I gave you a feeling to defend your work, much like now how I felt the need to defend my comment. Ha ha. I was also in the strange mood for typing, so this was a pretty good way of satisfying that desire. No harm done.
P.S.: Bloodborne FTW!
