Actually in both the books this came from and it's D&D adaption, it deals FAR worse damage to evil dragons than good ones
in D&D, it's just a dragonbane lance against good dragons, but against evil dragons it also deals massive constitution damage/drain.

Ahh. I thought I had heard of that lance before or some thing like it. *looks in my D&D books* I see it now. You are right we are safe for the most part. I laugh at the evil ones. HAHAHA!!!

Actually technically it goes based on alignment, not scale type. the magic of the lance can sense the evil in ur heart

:p probly just the dragonbane ability then.
it only deals con damage if ur actively evil
