So at work today, they had me roughing out ideas for Trump cartoons. These didn't make the cut, but since they feature animals, I figured it would be OK to run 'em on FA.

The DOW breaking 20,00 is a very random fact to just throw in.
And if you're insinuating that it's because of the current president, that's kinda foolish giving that he hasn't 'done' anything yet.
That would be like associating a city flooding randomly to him being in office.

It could be for a lot of reasons, but I can get behind optimism.
I was just stating how odd of a connection it was giving the are of the situation, as it's not the first time I've seen the connection today.
I will say you were the most mature with your response however. So for that, I thank you.

No problem. It makes sense to me, given that he has had meetings with union and business leaders, discussed removing regulation, lowering some taxes on businesses both small and large and making it more profitable for businesses in the U.S.
I mean, the pipelines which he signed back in, Dakota (which will be or has been moved from native land) and Keystone, will create around 28,000 jobs. That kind of start to a presidency for jobs growth can result in some major enthusiasm, not just in the U.S. but for foreign investors looking for strong, growing markets.
I watch the bloomberg report because numbers don't tend to lie like most of the mainstream media and while I've drawn a fairly heavy Trump conclusion, I am doing so based on his actions, not solely from his flowing gold-locks and fabulous tie :P

The numbers didn't have to lie to cause the housing market crash, the people did. Just remember that good numbers don't promise a holding pattern, when corruptible humans with no compulsion about lieing get slung in the mix.
Which doesn't really matter in a world that backs so much of its infrastructure on sucking the planet dry. But this conversation, much like our world and all its problems, isn't going to present us with any meaningful solutions.
Now get out there and win that ball game, champ -butt slap-!

We will pine for the nostalgic cuddles of the Bush administration, compared to the "*openhanded grope*WHY IS YOUR VAGINA ATTACKING MY HAND!" that will be Trump. I hope I'm wrong, desperately I hope, but his track record is......horrible, seems an appropriate word!
HOWEVER, love or hate the guy, you HAVE to admit. Much like a raging house fire, his presence in a room is announced by the warm orange glow!

What I find amusing is that as strong a campaign as Hilarious and her handlers ran, Team Trump still beat her, even as the Most Offensive Candidate. Imagine what a serious contender might have won. And no, I don't need another pointless lecture from the historically and politically clueless about the unfairness of the Electoral College versus the Popular Vote.
