Another day, another awesome work from
 pac !
This mountain of frog meat is a character I will be playing in an upcoming superhero game for my podcast, Role Playing Public Radio. He started out in life as Alexander Fairfax, the son of a wealthy shipping magnate in Chicago in 1898. He got his first taste of adventure when he joined the US Expeditionary Force in World War 1. Leaving the war a Captain, he immediately set out to find more adventure. His travels led him to the Jungles of the Amazon to the plains of Africa. By 1934, he had a strong reputation as a globe hopping hero. Everything changed when he entered an ancient Mayan temple, and a strange artifact sent him to a planet in a distant galaxy.
The human hero found himself embroiled in a civil war between two royal siblings of the Urgaaz Empire, a race of frog-like aliens. Stranded, with no hope of returning to Earth, Alex joined the side of Queen Irhana of the Urgaaz Empire. It felt good to have a real cause to fight for. After four years of fighting, Alex was hit by an irradiated projectile. The dose of radiation was lethal. His human body dying, the Urgaaz he fought for captured an engineered Urgaaz body designed by the enemy to be super strong and unaging. Minutes from death, the mind and soul of Alex Fairfax was put into the new alien body.
It took him a while to get used to his new body, but Alex endured. He has now been in this body for nearly 80 years, and can't remember what it was like to be human. After the transfer, he even took an Urgaaz name, Kurzyyk. The Urgaaz under his command called him Tzen'cor, meaning "The Breaker", as he was famous for crushing enemy soldiers with his bare, webbed hands. Thus, Kurzyyk Tzen'cor was born.
In the game, after more than eight decades of fighting in a galactic war in an alien body, Kurzyyk returns to Earth. Is there any trace of the human he once was, or is Kurzyyk fully a proud Urgaaz warrior in both body AND soul? Does he feel any connection to his old world? And what will he do when he discovers there are still members of his human family still alive? Only the game will tell!
