the words spoken are quite true.
little do the people care to know...
they are acting as pawns, whether willing or not.
I do not like many systems of government being used today. But such is life now, we imagine things that aren't real like Democracy, while Capitalism runs free and Dictatorships and crime run wild.
I only hope we do free ourselves from such grasps and hand down those 'false gods' unto the 'fallen angels and demons'.

Verse:
There's substantial spoken rythm to this; again, I'm no fan of visual poetry, and I realize you're trying to go for a visual effect. If you're going to go to the trouble of enforcing an arbitrary scheme on language, you ought to give real verse a shot. I think you must have an ear for it, like I said elsewhere. If you need help with the mechanics of that, let me know.
If it were me, I'd put "Presidents/Warmongers" on one line, as well as making "
No salvation /No forgiveness" one line, and the last three lines into one as well.

It's a nice point to make, though you belabor it a little. I'll tell you my reaction, then: you point out a pretty bitter aspect of human existence, but after all, if you say "false god," that implies there's a true god, which of course, there's not. A sense of righteous outrage about, for examlpe, what corporations, neocons, and the bushies have been doing in the last decade, begs the question of what should have gone on instead, which leaves me thinking, "which god *isn't* false?" And in turn I'm reminded of the fact that those guys got where they are largely via the enthusiasm of people who think they believe in a true god.
Incidentally, you ever listen to Franti & Spearhead? I realize pop reggae isn't everyone's cup of tea, but you might like what you hear. Some of the best politically relevant poetry's in music these days.
