Jade was forced upright again as pressure swiftly built in her spine. her jeans groaned in protest, the seam finally popping open as a long, feather-tipped tail erupted from the back of her pants. She turned to the window and looked out at the full moon as her hand gripped the feather with unyeilding strength.
"O-on a full m- m- moon like.... TONIGHT?!"

She heard Liam chuckle. "Yes, I suppose there IS a full moon out tonight... but not to worry it's only a legend..."

She felt scaled form along her legs as chutes covered her shins to match the ones on her new toes. "S-say it was more than a m-myth... how would y-you stop or reverse the process?"

Again there was a pause. "well I don't really know, but I have heard as long as the feather remains intact, we should be able to draw the spirit back into it's vessel."

Her attention fell to the cracking sound in her hand.
