Ugh honestly I feel it and I'm not even American haha. Close, but not. The family I live with are very much the "oh well there's nothing we can do about it so let's be complacent and bitch and moan" And I'm just like (^:

lmao honestly that's a good portion of america too rn. "nothing we can do, it's the government" or even worse "there's nothing to worry about". i don't even wanna call my mom to talk about it because i'm sure she'll think there's nothing wrong or that it'll all turn out okay, when the only way it'll turn out okay is if we do something about it.
whew. so yeah it's just. been. stressful, i guess. to say the least haha.

I just don't get it??? Like obviously nothing's gonna change if you just sit there and shrug your shoulders... And I mean sure who needs to worry if you're a majority ugh. Eye rolls.
I'm really lucky though, my mom's an even crazier activist than I am haha, I just don't live with her.
I mean, on the bright side the election in the states really seems to have a lot of people who really do give a damn about minorities and standing up for their morals getting out and taking action which is great, I mean the women's march alone (although yeah cis women really seem to be missing some valid points let's face it,) is a sign, I think, that unity isn't as impossible as we make it out to be? Maybe? I'm a dumb optimist haha but you never know. Bottom line is, this is the year to really stand up and fight, even more so because of those people who think it won't do any good.

though even if we get supreme cheeto out of office, there's still his second in command, and countless more asshats in seats of power. this is going to be a loooooong battle.
