I'm not sure whether or not I should expect anyone to be able to figure out why Paul is so upset here. You find out on the next page anyway.
Originally I was going to do the imagined panels in a sepia-tone, but I realized pink was more appropriate. It was nice having three such easy-to-color panels.
I feel like I got a little lazy on the art for this one because I wanted to be able to finish and upload it tonight. This page and the previous one have just had way too many hands too for my taste. Haha. Anyway, I'll draw the next one better.

Very little imagination is needed to figure out why She is upset when you have been in a similar state of such severe emotional distress over the same condition.
Just tell me if I've hit the nail on the head when I say that she's upset because SHE has always wanted to do those same things. However, with a younger brother and not a younger sister she didn't even have the easy excuse of wanting to play with her so that her little sister would always have someone to play with when her little sister's friends couldn't come over when it comes to the toys. The fact that her mother is now bringing up the subject of a Prom Dress is like a knife to the heart because she knows that even if she starts HRT immediately, she'll likely still be looked at as a 'wannabe-girl" when the time comes for her junior/senior prom. Not only that, but it'll be nearly impossible for her to get a date for it.

I can relate to Emily here. I hate seeing my friends looking at prom dresses. It just reminds me that I can have one.
On a cheerier note, my cousin is gonna take me to the mall AND an anime convention in some of her dresses! She's also gonna take me and we're gonna have a girl's day. I can't wait!
