One day, Cowboy Hephy walked into a bar in a new town. He saddled up his horse and stepped in, asking for a glass of milk.
After his glass of milk, he walked outside to realize his horse had been stolen. Filled with rage, he steps back inside the saloon and whips out his pistol, firing a round into the ceiling and stopping the music dead in its tracks.
"One of y'all stole my horse. And if I don't get my horse back, I'm gonna have to do what I did in Texas." Hephy spins the barrel of his revolver with a hard look in his eyes. "And I don't like doin' what I did back in Texas. But I'll make y'all a deal. I'm going to sit down, have another glass of milk, and if my horse is back by the time I finish that second glass, that'll be the end of it."
Hephy sits back down and has his second glass of milk, and when he went back outside, his horse was back. He nodded solemnly, and started to saddle up. The bartender, curious, stepped out.
"Excuse me... what exactly did you do in Texas when your horse was stolen last time?"
Hephy looks left, he looks right, and he leans in close to the bartender. "I had to walk home."
