This is where I do my art at. The screen, keyboard and mouse are new, but the computer with my art software on it is begging to have a need of a hospice. It is even missing some external pars. LOL.
I wish I could get some software to use the Mac to the left to do my art on, but alas, I can not afford it. I use it anyhow for other things though.
As one can see, I have no pen and tablet, only a mouse to work with.
The Scanner is not in view and the hole in the blinds is where my cats like to go through to look outside. I could raise the blinds but that would be too much light to be able to see my screens nicely. And it was too late anyhow. LOL. ^\/^.

I am so happy to hear that I'm not the only neat and tidy freak around here. My cousin likes to get on my case for being this way, but I ignore him happily. Lol.
Also very nice, with the Commodore 64. X3 I still have the really old gameboy (you know the really fat one lol) The gameboy pocket, and the gameboy color. All in good working condition. ^^

Oh yes, definitely. But I don't think my pockets were big enough to hold it. I was only 5 years old at the time, lol.
You could also tell if someone had the gameboy, if they one: asked for 4 double A batteries or two: saw with a pocket full of batteries. ^^ You know that gameboy ate battery power like it was a 2 minute snack to it. lol XD
And cargo pants were full of WIN back then. X3

Aye, that is so true. I remember when Street Fighter 1 was in arcades. It had a pad and not a stick and buttons. To play constantly put a lot of pain on the fist of the hand. As a result many serious players wore baseball batting gloves on the one hand they use often. You can tell who played that game often, and who were the professionals and virtuosos, if they constantly wore one baseball batting glove. (as a note, players of baseball that wore the batting gloves wore the gloves on both hands as they hold the bat with both hands). LOL. ^|^.
I didn't know Street Fighter 1 was in the arcades. I guess I was to young to remember them. I didn't start playing Street Fighter until Street Fighter 2 and I played it on the Super Nintendo. ^^ But those arcade buttons sound painful. How did they expect people to play in that kind of pain, lol. X3
There was no standard for controls back then.
In fact, if you put all the current types and styles of controls for the Wii and other systems and multiplied by three you still don't come close to the number of different controls for back then.
It was when Nintendo unveiled the controller for their new Nintendo Entertainment System, that had a D - Pad for movement and 'A' and 'B' buttons with select and start did everyone else copy it and that became the standard controller.
I remember a controller that was out where you move by using a circular knob for movement and enough buttons with the same number of buttons, and same layout, as a telephone. It even had the same labels as a telephone. Their marketing scheme was 'teenagers liked telephones and know how to use them a lot'. LOL. ^\/^.

Yeah, this was a little before my time, lol. I started playing games when I was 2 years old, on the Nintendo (regular one), with the classic Mario Bros. Those were some good times. ^^
And I want to see a pic of this telephone controller lol. But oddly enough, if I remember correctly, they tried to make something similar to that recently. I think it was called N-Gage or something. A complete failure. XD

I can not find a picture of it but here are a few examples that come close to it. Focus on the ones with the keypads and the ones made by Atari (especially at the bottom, LOL). http://pc.ign.com/articles/690/690450p1.html
Well the PS! had problems too. The first controllers they had didn't even have the analog control sticks yet. At first they came out later as specialty controllers for specific games that required more fluid movement in the new 3D games coming out during that time, like Monkey Ball and Golden Eye. Because they were so fluid, and worked like an extra directional control like the D-Pad, They actually became standard and the old ones fell out of use. LOL. ^\/^.
Oh yes, I remember those controllers. They were terrible. I didn't start off with that controller when I first got the PS, I started off with the analog controller, but a friend bought his controller over one night, and he had the previous one. I couldn't even hold that thing. It felt so wrong. And don't forget about the Nintendo 64's controller. When I first pulled it out of the box and looked at it, I was like WTF, how in the world do I hold this thing. It's shaped so funny. But miraculously I pulled it off some how., and that wasn't a easy feat, especially when playing Super Mario 64. Gawd, that game was hard. Lol ^_^
Oh yes, the glitches, who can forget those damnable things. Lol ^_^
I was very confused too. Most people I know actually held the controller from the middle part. I didn't like the way that felt on my hands. So I just held it like any old controller, but I had really stretch my thumb in order to get to the analog. It was uncomfortable at first, but I got use to it. ^_^

Well thank goodness they change that on the gamecube. Though the gamecube controller could become a pain in the neck as well. Ever tried playing Luigi's Mansion, for two hours straight? My thumb was kinda swollen after I was done, but I didn't care. I had a new game system, and I was going to enjoy it to the fullest. Lol ^_^
Hopefully you are talking about Starfox Adventures and not Starfox Assault. ^^
Water scooter game, I wonder if your talking about Wave Racer or something like that. I might be thinking of something else.
I've played quite a few games myself, but my two favorites is Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door and Tales of Symphonia. ^_^

Lol, I was more like, "hmm, this looks pretty interesting and fun. I think I will play it." I was to young back then to actually care about what game I was playing, just as long as I had a game, I was happy. ^_^
I really didn't develop a different taste for game genres until I was like 13 or 14. X3

It is a free to own and play online game that takes place in a mythical view of China where one can play either the humans, winged elves or untamed races.
The untamed are, in short, furries.
The males look like were wolves, tigers, lions and pandas and the girls look like catgirls like in Japanese anime.
At a certain level they can turn into animals.
The males turn into white tigers with flaming red eyes and feet and the girls turn into foxes or a kitsune.
It is rather fun, especially since I hit level 30 and can now fly on a manta ray that can float through the air.
I am saving my money to buy a phoenix to fly on, surfing style. LOL. ^\/^.
