Wow, early Jau is very different. His backstory was a human turned cat-sized dragon rather than a cat-sized dragon that can turn human. Not to mention that he's feral without that vest!

Yeah, this is the earliest picture of Jau, back when he was just a character I used to role play with on Skype. He was made in the phase where I was really into Madoka Magica and My Little Pony (still fans of the shows, but moved onto other works). The love of cute works made me go for cute, little dragon and I know deep down if I developed Jau later, he probably wouldn't have a focus on "cute design" (heck, I feel I'm not so good at doing cuteness).
