I got this from a sprite artist in the same chat I RP'd Jau on Skype so I could have an avatar of Jau. And it's funny how additions put in by that artist had a major effect on Jau's vest, with it being open, the vest being orange since Jau's hair was that colour the signature lines at the bottom of it!

Blue and orange make good contrasts, and I went with those colours by coincidence! I really liked denim back when the sprite was made so Jau's scales were blue and have orange hair in real life so that was his hair colour (making Jau's hair like mine was also why he had the ponytail before I gave him a mane)
