Oooh, you really should. He's a genius, he's written a whole lot of novels, and he's a really cool guy just to meet. Right now he's trying to earn money for his legal fund, so he can get the rights back to The Last Unicorn (the company that made the animated film screwed him royally). Once he does, he wants to make a live action version.

Oh my gosh, I've loved the movie forever but I had no idea there was a book! I'm so glad I read the comments for this one, thank you!

And believe it or not, the book is better. Which is hard to pull off, since the movie is so good. I particularly like the scene where we first meet Prince Lir (in the book we meet him before they reach the castle.)

I believe it. As a general rule, no matter how good the movie the book is always better. =)

A work of art to be sure! I am aware of the author showing up to random sci-fi conventions, just never had the opportunity to meet him yet. XD The live action movie would be INCREDIBLE, I too hope to see that one come to life! *dances with glee*

Even though you don't like fan art - you should do more of the Last Unicorn! I've been meaning to do a few piccys from my fav movie of all time too. Maybe after seeing this, I'll get down to it soon. ^____^
