Just testing...
This is about 2min of sketching compressed to a 22 second SWF.
Thinking of maybe uploading a more extensive tutorial in the future, and I'm just checking to see if it's possible to keep the files small while still retaining enough quality for it to be useful. Comments?

Time lapse tutorials or even just time lapse drawings / paintings are always great to watch. Video is a great way to learn if you can't view it first hand. I have a stack of DVD's two feet tall that are basically this very concept put towards learning a 3D application. Great to go back and reference it when you need to.
Curious what you're using to create the image. Snapshotting it or real time video capture then editing it down to a filesize that is manageable ? Also curious what file size you're trying to target.
I'm using Cam Studio to capture the video at 2 frames per second. There is a "time laps" feature in cam studio which basically does all the work for you.
The maximum upload size for SWF on fur affinity is 10 Mb, so that what I'm aiming for. By my calculations that's would give me roughly 2,5 minutes of video at the same quality as this clip.

Nice. I use Cam Studio myself to make training videos for IT related stuff. ( Cisco configs, troubleshooting, Unix Scripting, etc. )
Nice to see it used for something far more interesting. I haven't done a video in a while so I can't remember if it lets you pick a
color depth or not ( sketching wouldn't require 32bit color :D ) but I believe it does allow for output resolution. Though, you can't
get too small or folks will go blind trying to watch it.
Might also consider a short or thumbnail version linking to a larger offsite video. Assuming you have the space for it and don't mind your
bandwidth getting beat up once folks find it :D
I know htis was uploaded 4 months ago, but I just found it. Bloody great way to learn, it zipping by so fast, can just sit there and let it sink in how you do each one, and since there are multiple examples you really get a better Idea of hte basic bits that go into the full sketch.
