here are 5 portraits I did for uni over Christmas for the exhibition we held in late January.
haha I gotta do my foxes somehow, and these were very fun, I pulled regular all nighters to get them done on time for the installation.
As for what they are about, I don't want to spoil it but see if you can guess bearing in mind this is a "fine art gallery space" after all. Like I have said many times my course is far more reactive to the context and theory behind art work, so I am sorry if these are a little arty farty, it's just the nature of my uni course.
All are Charcoal on A3 sketch paper, yeah, my hands were constantly black while making these. :P

These ladies aren't your normal more cartoony vixens tho. MUCH more human. Still very brave to go there in a mainstream art class, way to go!!!
Also I think the difference in the style, (being more human) shows me at least more breadth of your range as an artist. I like it, but don't stop drawing your vixens the way you do for us here in the fandom!

They mainly liked them haha and kinda saw they they were sensual and stuff. the woman who helped me install them had a few questions for me and insinuated that people into sexy furries clearly don't want to have real sexual relationships with real women and men, and kinda said we were into bestiality, not in a nasty way, they were just very confused. So I just explained it was just like any form of vanilla sexual interest, except its expressed through anthro characters.
Thank you man :)
Thank you man :)
Ah, so pretty much the same reaction as most people that aren't involved in the fandom. I can't fault her for being confused, but at least she was willing to hear your explanation. :)
It really is more about expression through animals and their inherent traits, rather than having a sexual interest in a feral fox. >.<
But you're welcome, dude. :)
