Clearly this commission is some sort of vent art for the client and as an artist, I can say that these types of commissions are usually done in queue-form and take a while for it to be created. Using this common sense, you can place the commission's purchase further ahead of "the month of February" which only means *GASP* it must just be a normal vent commission for someone going through a hard time.
Who would'a thought people can have feelings all year round and it not just be for some commercial holiday for you to get your panties in a knot over.

ditto :) I can feel for those people though. My single BFF HATES Feb 14... and I've had my heart broken too. Badly. It's a fitting term, because it feels like bits of broken glass in your chest. It's impossible for me, personally, to hate the holiday because I was born on the tenth, my sister ON valentines day, and that's when we celebrate our birthdays together. Plus we'd always get heart-shaped balloons and chocolates, so I have positive images of friends and family I associate with valentines cemented into my head, going back to when I was a little baby :)
I don't. This looks like a guy who never will. And will have to suffer through a February business-driven holiday where those who are lucky saturate their social media account viewers with bragging narratives about their luck. Don't tell me that doesn't happen.
That's the point everyone criticizing me here has spectacularly missed.
Of course, someone will feel compelled to criticize my observation by declaring it's their right to broadcast their good fortunes from the mountain top, and how those who feel downtrodden should just shut up. Happens all the time.

Those patches on his left side of his chest... do they mean that he (figuratively) removed his own heart to show how broken it was? Or maybe he evan had to remove it and break his heart himself to cope with feelings/cut ties with a once loved person?
...or am I just going to deep in this?

Kero...Thank you so much again for this. It was a Heart affair and because of you it was possible for me to cry for the first time since my heart gets broken. You did more than an excellent job...You touched my heart with this picture.
Thanks a lot again
