It is most definetely a woodchuck. Which means that the outcome of a fight between your weapon-less cat and that thing is that your cat would lose. One woodchuck took out my family's pack of dogs (one of which is a golden retriever)

Yeah, Friskey was declawed too and had to revert to slap boxing ^__^ He also bit when he had to but we kept him from the outside as much as we could. He always wanted to go out though and ended up sneaking out and we'd have to find him and catch him or wait for him to return on his own. THe only thing was that we lived in an apartment that looked the same on every floor which confused him and he'd sit in front of the door upstairs from us.

there's a 6ft privacy fence around our backyard, so he is safe
