A new form has awakened. She steps lightly and with grace, yet commands the raw power of the land. The Valkyrie of Earth has arrived.
It was a lot of fun to design an outfit for such a cute form. The main design idea was "earth sage." The power of earth made me think of geometric shapes and patterns, which dominate her design. But because she is the earth form of Marisa (light based), it made sense to have white be one of the major colors of her outfit. And I thought it was an interesting bit of continuity to have Earth wear the same fingerless gloves that Marisa would wear. The stockings being toeless allow her to directly touch the source of her power, the ground. Lastly, the amethyst on her staff resembles a flower that has not bloomed, reflecting the youthfulness of this sage. I hope you enjoy this little insight into how I designed her!
I'm quite pleased with how she turned out. The only thing I'm not 100% on are her wings. I think they turned out alright, but they gave me some trouble. I need to practice wings more.

And believe me, her dress took a long time. I've never had so many layers in a single file!
Heh, it just takes practice and knowing how to angle your surfaces! Also, I had a good brush for adding just a bit of texture to it. http://tamarinfrog.deviantart.com/a.....rush-541152954 This brush is great for that. :)
