F402 Rolls-Royce Pegasus vector thrust engine. Developed from the Bristol Siddley Pegasus. Used pretty much exclusively in the harrier line of fighters and produced from the late 50s through to the mid 2000s. Intended for multiple VTOL applications but only ever used in production in the Hawker sidley/BAE/Av8B harriers.
