Makes me wonder just what manner of little one is gonna come out of that egg. On impulse, I'm imagining a little green and brown mutant, either a long-necked venkat or a viridi with gigantic ears, or some other fusion of traits. Judging from Desmond's grandmother, though, it doesn't look like venkat genetic traits carry very well in a union of viridi, as Desmond and the rest of his family don't appear to have any visible traits from that bloodline.
Yeah, the Viridi genes are more dominant. That is where the whole 'small willy' rumour came from, because Desmond's father does show some of his mothers traits (white fur, slightly smaller body, tiny wings).
