Earthquake Warriors Sumo League: Maximillian Mole
Few announcements. One, I plan on adding some new default races and tournaments to Earthquake Warriors. Moles being one of them, with two others being Chickens and Alligators. I want to add some diverse species rather that just mammals, but I was stuck on others to add as I wanted to keep it limited to animals that are actually considered fat. If I want to make them diverse, I have to be a bit more adventurous.
Now, regarding this guy. When you hit Lv11, you will have to battle an incredibly strong sumo while being accompanies by two other sumos, one being Murphy Mole, the son of Maximillian Mole. If you win, you automatically level up and Murphey tells you about an underground sumo league run by Maximillian Mole. Here, you can bet on matches or even partake in matches yourself. You can win money, buy temporary buffs and even buy some swag bling, clothes and tattoos for your characters to add to their design if you didn't previously add to it.
If you choose to bet on a match, you can choose from level groups to watch. Each fight will be 1 on 1 and competitors will have different odds and payoffs. Maximillian is the champion, and matches involving him will always end in his victory, so if you bet on him, you are bound to win money. ...But not much, since his payoff is very small. Other fighters could give you more.
If you choose to be a fighter, you will fight matches based on your level. You gain money based on how well you do. Although this typically has less payoff than betting, you gain money win or lose. In addition, you get a popularity meter which effects how much cash you get. Your popularity usually goes up if you win, and down if you lose. Watch out, though, the crowd loves Maximillian, and hates seeing him lose. You can only fight him at level 40 or higher, but if you win against him and your popularity is not at max, you will LOSE popularity. Ironically enough, losing to Maximillian gains popularity, but either way, beating him will make you rich.
Watch out! he's tough, though. Most bosses get 25 extra stat points (except for the world champion who gets 60), but Maximillian gets 40 extra stat points, and like all bosses he is a Lv50 Sumo and he also gets a +1 buff to his rolls. He's strong and heavy, but not very muscular, making strikes your best bet in facing him.
