Remember "Persian"? Yup. We kept her.
Deva hasn't quite made it official that I own / am responsible for her yet. But given that she did make it official with "Furfrou" and hasn't even asked what my plans are for Ray & Dory (I know it's on the tip of her tongue to ask if she can have one), I think the writing's on the wall.
It's probably so she can introduce me as a bond companion, the same loophole she used to keep "Hector" without bringing everything up to code. You know, just in case their secrets ever get out.
Deva: "What secrets?"
Umm. . . Wait, you still don't. . .? Eh, never mind. It's probably better if I don't ask.
Deva: "Alright, suit yourself." *ruffles his head-feathers* "But you're right, I'm absolutely giving Persian to you too. And not because I think she needs to be in a bond pair. That is what I told the boss about Ray and Dory, but just like with Furfrou, I'm only acknowledging who she likes most." *shrugs* "She's already spent the night in your beak, so I might as well."
Buh. . . Wait, I didn't dream that?
"Persian": *sidles up under his wing and nuzzles* "Purr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-rsian. . ."
*blink-blinks* Peli-pur-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r. . .
*shrugs and starts petting his new "Persian"* Hm. If I could get Ray to dress up, I'll be 2/3rds the way to having a full team of six "Pokemon". . . Unless I only have the two humans and I've genuinely lost my mind when it comes to the other- *goes wide-eyed as "Persian" starts licking him* She has a rough tongue. . . Son of a Salazzle, I think I have lost it.
