XD Kind of letting my inner fanboy show there. The quote above, for those who don't know, is from FLCL, the best anime ever. I didn't make the painting with this title in mind, but when I was trying to think up a title, this was all I could think of :)
This one is less of an actual painting and more of an experiment, so to be honest, I didn't really try as hard as I should have. What I was trying out was using both acrylic and watercolor to acheive a certain effect (I didn't know what effect I was talking about, but you never know until you try :) ) and I guess I can say I'm somewhat happy with it, It didn't really work as well as I hoped but I don't really mind. What I did was paint an undercoat of acrylic to add some more depth and deepen the shadows, then I added a coat of watercolor over that..... and it has also shown me how bad I am at painting clouds.
Also, this masked-fox is a new character of mine, meaning I like him enough that he might show up again :) Buuuuut.... he doesn't have a name....yet.... so if you have any suggestions, please feel free to say something :)
EDIT:I went back in with the watercolors cause I thaught the tail looked too flat, I also messed around with the edit options on my computer so I could make it look cooler :P

dude, ur clothing is spot on, top grade. his pose is also a very good highlight. You could get a lot out of researching a style of body positioning called "contraposto". I think you do it already, but it's a classic yet perfection on the figure.
All in all, this shows an improvement and a really complex understanding and style. Love your work and will try to give good critiques in the future.
as far as a name goes. I just thought of one really fast. "Sincara" . It's 2 spanish words stuck together. "sin cara" means "faceless" or "w/out a face"

Go experiment go! I can only imagine what a full-detail, non-experiment version of this would look like (and in my head it is great). I can't give you advice for the painting since my watercoloring sucks, but I am sure that your experiments will come up in awesomeness.

I wiki-ed for angel names, which I like. I also like demon names, but it seems odd to me that a demon-named character would be fighting evil.
So far, I have Azrael (one name for the Angel of Death), Ireul (ugly name, but means 'fear of God'), Israfel ('the Burning One', yes!), Nuriel ('fire of God', also yes!). I like many more, but these seem to fit the best.
And 'Sincara' is cool, too.

I'm naming mine with pretentious, greek-myth inspired ones! (I have pretentiously greek-named aunts, and not a single drop of greek blood on my body)

The saddest part is that he would have been the best president ever, but nobody will take him seriously. Maybe I should name him Chuck Norris if a boy, Buffy VampireSlayer if a girl-, he's supossed to pay for my retirement home.

Well I didn't actually mean to give the impression that this masked fox would be fighting evil , though I can totally see how you got that impression :) I would actually envision him as more of a bad guy.
The names that have been suggested so far are actually quite a bit better than the one I had thought up. I'm actually surprised with the names because for the name Aiden suggested, I actually pictured him as having no face under his mask, and you said it would be odd that he would have a demon name, yet I actually felt he would be some demon-like creature XD

Well, 'Israfel' still does the trick if we stick to its meaning -he's still a 'good' angel, though-, and 'Sincara' doesn't get affected by the good/evil alignment -and a truly faceless character would be worth taking a look at-. And as for a selection of demon names... I can't make one right now, because I'm supossed to be doing some other 'useful' stuff right now (I'm half dead of boredom)

Also, 'Ozgalmoth' is the most awesomest name ever. With fireworks and a parade and non-lie cake.
The name I had was Kraatz, it has no meaning (as far as I know ), I liked it when I first thought it up, but I began to like it less and less the more I thought about it. Either way, I'm awful at makingup/picking names for characters because I can never decide on one that I like and when I find one I do like, I usually change my mind. Yet I will occasionally come across a name I like (usually it's strange, completely made up, or a reference to something) and I then usually keep that name, sometimes even using on a new character if I scrap the other.( I use the term 'scrap' here rather loosely XD I mean if I don't really like the character anymore)
I think 'Kraatz' is a good name, it sounds agressive enough to be a 'firey' name (Zuko, Azula, Ozai, yay!), although it sure would be better if you add a meaning. IMO, it's not wrong to leave it meaningless, it's just a missed oportunity.
If you want keep thinking it and feel geeky enough, anagrams are a nice way to play around and make up words. You can either keep the exact anagram -and the original word/phrase will remain as an easter egg- or use it as an inspiration and modify it further.
