While it's cool to draw some ponies having their muscles bulge and swell, I also wanted to expand my love of masculine anatomy to drawing some full anthros with actual hands and fingers (and soon feet and toes), and I had Flex to start trying on. =3

Yeah. Those muscles he has are not naturally grown, so it will have the tendency to lose mass when not constantly showered with sunlight or magic even if he works it out. You may usually see Flex having a tan or just being outdoorsy because of it. ^^;

No no, the tanning part was figurative. I'm not sure if you're aware of his backstory, but he got that by accident when he got struck by magic. Because of it, the process on how it grows and how it is maintained is quite different. The way he is bathing on sunlight looks like as if he's having a tan, but sunbathing doesn't change fur color of course. x3

I was curious on how Flex would look like on an average-sized muscle mass. Flex indeed looks a lot more natural in this. I'm glad you appreciated it =3
And now that you mentioned it, I have seen a lot still keeping the animal's actual hoof in anthro form, and you're right =) But I still want to challenge myself on drawing feet, so we'll see ^^
Hands are still a challenge to me until today, so it really helps a lot that you see it drawn alright here =D
