Still in an art funk, so I'm remaking old characters.

As for the star of this piece, it's the female whom I've decided to call Laetro (Lay-trow), heir to the throne of her clan. She's particularly notorious for being bloodthirsty and sadistic, even for her own people. She takes pleasure in terrorizing anything that wanders into her territory. Though she doesn't rule yet, she's the commander of a small group of elite assassins (shown in the picture) whose job is mostly to follow her on missions of terror. In this picture, I'm showing a particular moment involving a young knight who thinks he can end the terror in a nearby town. What he doesn't realize is that Laetro's savage nature will prove more than he can handle. Yet even though he will not succeed, he was the longest lasting single opponent of Laetro, even managing to give her a decent gash across the thorax. For this, she often tells the story of their fight during gatherings, labeling him "her favorite fool."
