"Systems-check complete; sittin' comfy"

'Sitting comfy' is a pilot slang for 'All systems running optimal'; it originates from the cadet times when the pilots had to check their own trainer planes in case something was wrong upon systems scan, and had to get out of the cockpit to check the error. Instructors mocked the pilots who strapped themselves in too early only to unbuckle for an external inspection, saying 'but she was sitting so comfortable'

Christmas gift for  GHOUL <3333 - u da best mofo -

The idea popped while we were discussing the details of the sci-fi universe with Nim; as she really love the whole super cheesy scenario and even 'hinted' she'd love to see Bug, her kobold sona, in this setting, maaaybe as a pilot? o3o

I took no time to sketch this up, earlier we agreed that Bug would look a bit different here; a bit taller, having gross scalie boobs and so, then I went apeshit with the internals of the cockpit; both Nim and I love the 80's/90's computer aesthetics so it only a matter of time and patience to fill up every bit of space with some kind of gadget/gauge/knob, you name it. Bug being smaller, she is a bit undersized for the cockpit and gear she is wearing, but that made everything much more interessting.

Gotta admit, I got carried away with the details so much that shading was a bit of a pain, esp I haven't really figured out how would she be lit, buut a huge CRT screen as some warning light behind her did the trick.
