Armored Core II is one of my favorite games I used to play on the PS2 before we had to sell it to keep the roof over our heads way back when. "King Leer" is one of the sound tracks from that game that I have remembered for the longest time, with it's driving percussion and very uplifting strings and choir. It wasn't until recently (actually, about a year or so ago) that I had decided to sit down and try my hand at "remastering" the song in a way - from it's 2000 sound track to something using a little more "realistic" sounding, using some Japanese drum (Taiko) samples and some more string VST (Virtual Studio Technology) instruments.
