While Anders was sleeping a work crew snuck on him to try and get his horn, or at least pieces of it. Unicorn horn can be very valuable, the more powerful the unicorn the better. And with Anders being the most powerful unicorn in existence even the smallest fragment of his horn is worth untold fortune.

Unfortunately for that crew, Anders’ horn proved harder than expected and it was taking a while for them to make much progress. They should have left, but their greed got the better of them. When Anders did wake up on them things went downhill very fast.
