I think the humorous tone in the writing, the interaction with the border of the sheet and the poses~

Kind of you to say that!

My goal, at least with ref sheets, is to try and help whoever it is I'm drawing for flesh out his/her character(s) to give them a little more depth personality-wise, which IMO is more important than just showcasing the visuals.
