heh heh...yw. sorry, I don't know what cathartic means. -normally the furry dictionary here but is now stumped- Well I guess you could call everyone here on FA that makes music a furry musician but I know that's not true. X3 I currenlty have only one piece written and it's fairly short. The next is gonna be longer I hope. I've noted that most things that I make longer, such as story chapters, get better reactions.
Cathartic basically means soothing or providing some sort of internal relief... it's a therapeutic experience. like when you're really sad and you cry to make yourself feel better. Crying can be a cathartic experience.... or if you're really angry and you thrash out some metal on your electric guitar? That's VERY cathartic. :)
-chuckles- thankfully, I only have an electric keyboard to vent with musically, so I don't get yelled at. But you're right, it is a cathartic. Especially when I wrote the piece, I felt SO much better. I kept it in my head for the longest time. I have it saved if you want to look at it.
Alas, our band's history has not yet been written, so I'm not sure how long we've been playing together as a unit... this is one of the woes of being a cartoon character who needs a writer to flesh out your entire life. All these sorts of questions will be answered soon, though! Watch for blog blog blog posts with more info. :) Thanks!

In all seriousness, I really do love this song. I'm still listening to it, so I can't focus on the lyrics, but the instruments all sound beautiful. I'll have to listen again to hear the lyrics over and really contemplate them.
