For the big move, I’ve been going through archives and such. I dug this out. I wrote and recorded this song late 2004 soon after I got laid off that year. The lyrics reflected elements of my life in Florida in general, from my ex-employer and the social scenes there. The band, Suburban Lockdown, also recorded their version of this song and played it live a few times also. This song was a bit difficult to adapt, mostly with how the words are sung, but it did come out good. At this point in time, I’ve got one more live show with the band. Our last show we just did in Jacksonville went very well. Going to miss those guys.
