The new series is basically a re-do of the show. Kinda like hellsing and hellsing ultimate.

But i don't really get why they have to do it again..

there was just something RETARDED about that first ep. Now they established a plot point that wasn't canon in the first place, and then they enter into the flashbacks. By then I thought that they were gonna skip Lior

What happens in ep 3?

THEY GO TO LIOR ANYWAY! Why the hell did they even do the first ep if they were gonna do Lior? Why didn't they just start in Lior, you know like how the manga AND the original anime did?
