After seeing Coraline I was dying to draw some fanart of some sort. Here my character Seashell is dressed as a Coraline doll :3
And the lyrics are from the 'Other Father' song which was by the awesome They Might Be Giants :D It is stuck in my head like mad.
I used silver pen so it doesn't show up great here but looks nice and shiny IRL :D

Ah.. the silver gel pen. Believe it or not, I can see the 'gel' quality to it if I put it on full view. It does happen to look glittery or metallic. [Either that or my resolution is up far too high..]
Now, I will happen to also say this: I enjoy it because.. it looks like it could be sewn into a sweater or a t-shirt. [And yes, I said "sewn" and not "ironed own" due to the quality of it, and that works.]
I think it's rather nice in an old fashioned kind of way.
Perhaps that's what makes me appreciate it more~

Gerbils, meeces, whatever. Either way they were total win. :D 'Cause they were my favorite part, when they did the show dealie.
