I have a large backstory for this piece, but for now, I'd like to put it open to interpretation. Either the knight is a heroic figure going to slay the demon; or the demon is a simple creature living peacefully in his fortress.
Or, killing those two plots, something a bit different. I'll still write this story someday, but so far, let's say it's a sort of off from those two plots.
This is a story of two old friends coming to a clash, where only one should survive. Neither one is right. Neither one is wrong. And neither one enjoys the idea of it all.
