Just a little sketch I did in the ride up to an event. It was quite bumpy (the squiggle up top was my attempt at drawing a straight line, just for reference), so I tried changing up my line art and shading a little. I thought it turned out quite well, and considering half the ride I felt like I was in free fall, i'm quite proud! The proportions are a little odd in this one, but I quite liked how the depth turned out.

The uniform this dude is wearing is based quite heavily on the US's Vietnam-Era BDU and ALICE gear. It's really fun to work with, due to how messy and bunched up that type of uniform can get. Most of the troops I doodle are probably going to have it on, as I quite like how cluttered it can get. I still like designing uniforms, but when i'm bored I kinda default on it.
