For this first 'Fat Tuesday' in February, 2017 (my latest 'sweeps month'), I have another "EFF" ("Extraordinarily Fat Furries") comic strip gag, with an all-new theme...
In past "EFF" strips, I had incorporated such poetry as the 'haiku' and the 'limerick'. This time, I have another form of wordplay I'm going to experiment with: the 'acronym'. In other words, I take the name of a 'fat furry' character, and use each letter (in order) to produce a sentence that describes said character. Here is an example, using the last name of a RL individual:
Traitorous
Republicans
Upset
Mister
President...
For my 'initial presentation' (no pun intended), I have chosen 'Roocan' - the raccoon character of
Bruno Meles - in a comic gag with my bobcat 'fursona' (the latter of whom is trying to keep the former from getting any fatter than he already is). A key to a food larder is out of reach (and out of the panel) of the round raccoon, who corners the bobcat; but his pleas fall on deaf ears...
Let me know what you think of this new experimental idea (via comments below, 'shouts' on my 'Home' page, or in my "FA" inbox). I hope to present a new "EFF Acronym" strip each week throughout the month. So, be on the lookout for them...

(Sigh...) This kinda breaks my heart 'cause it reminds me of the eating disorder I fought with most my life. The worst of it was caused by not only over eating, but eating even though I wasn't hungry. Three years of poverty taught me what I was doing wrong. I ended up taking long hikes in the redwoods and walking through the Bay area as a way to take my mind off food.
Rob... Tell your Procyon buddy how much fun it is to have to shoot up Insulin three times a day.

My heart goes out to you, seriously, steamfox...
I'm so preoccupied with my other problems (e.g. getting a primary physician, maintaining my Social Security check income, getting my cluttered condo clean, etc.), that food is one of the furthest thoughts from my mind. And I take long bike rides throughout portions of south Florida for relaxation (which I was unable to do twenty years ago, when there were absolutely no 'bike lanes' in some of the major streets).
I hope that things will work out for you... I really do.

You might want to elaborate (in private, over my "FA" inbox) what you mean by "Toy-Otter"... Is it a plush figure? Is it a statue? I might consider acquiring it from you, as I have a lot of otter stuff in my home (including a three-foot-tall plushie dressed up like a pirate, given to me by Funimal)...
Oh, wait a minute... You mean your Toyota? *face-smacks* Having done wordplay for over a quarter of a century, I should've figured that out! Ironically, I could use a used car (having sold my last one a few years ago, when I was earning so little money - from my part-time 'janitor' job - that I couldn't afford the insurance). But it might be counterproductive for both of us, having to get your "Toy-Otter" delivered across the country. So I hope you find a local buyer in your area...
And don't let a little rain dampen your optimism in getting a bicycle. I believe in you, dude...
