I mean, sure, you are american so I assume you know your accents better than a kraut like I would, but when I pronounce this stuff out loud and in my head, the first thing that comes to mind is "southerner" minus typical southern catchphrases like Y'all.

One big similarity is the lack of pronunciation of the "R" sound and replacing it with "Ah". The inflections and pronunciations are different though, not sure how else I could spell it.
Notice though where instead of 'road', Kev says 'uoad'? That's not New England, that's another part of the speech impediment this guy had that I've given Kev's character. Sorry if he's kind of confusing. When I write Kev's dialogue, I just imagine this guy talking and write it the best I can.
